CLS at the November 2012 Swap

One of the major ways that CLS generates revenue to run our club is our table at the GCCA Swap Meet. GCCA holds four swap meets per year that attract 600-1000 people. We sell fish, plants and equipment at our table.

Manufacturers, like those represented by Kingfish Services are major supporters. Many thanks to the Kingfish himself Ray Lucas the companies he represents such as Cichlid News, Aqueon, Swiss Tropicals, Coral Magazine, Omega One,

We also sell fish donated by our members and those made available from local wholesalers. Bruce Canaday of APET was nice enough to help us out with some fish.

Notes and a Pic from the GCCA Swap Meet

CLS had a table at GCCA's December 4th swap meet. This was our second time at this event and these swaps are a key method we can use to generate income for the club. We raised over $100 for the club!

I put together a display board (see pic below) and we sold livebearers and items donated by manufacturers. My good friend Bruce brought several bags of wild-type Endlers Livebearers and CLS Treasurer Jason Libasci donated some cichlids. Thanks, guys!
